Real love is a permanently self-enlarging experience. ^[1] Real love is one that in most cases starts off as friendship and builds over time. That doesn't mean that you don't have those ooey gooey feelings just the same, it just means that the both of you took the time to sit back and nurture your budding relationship into one that means more than the here and now.^[2] Real love is the fight to free the slaves who in their degrading poverty are forced to dig those 'precious' stones from the earth. Love is not a puppy for Christmas.^[3]

Real love is based on truth and honesty. The Bible says perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18).^[4] Real love is knowing that no matter what hardship we are going through, we have each other and the family we have created. It is knowing that even though the life we have right now may not be perfect and it may be pretty hard, it is a blessing we would never trade.^[5] Real love isn't jealous. Not being jealous is different from not caring.^[6]

Real love is costly. Real love gives much.^[7]

Real love is our total oneness with the object loved and with the possessor of love. Who is the possessor of love?^[8] Real love is not defined by the parameters of those qualities. Unconditional love transcends those qualities, and reaches into the very essence of the object of our affections.^[9]

Real love is a treasure hard to find but durable. Real love is the very essence of living.^[10] Real love is often as complicated and painful as Middle Eastern politics, and Fox might have been better off acknowledging that, rather than making his characters such vague, sweet, safe ciphers. ^[11] Real love is not always easy. Nor should it be, as real love is a thing of utmost value.^[12]

Real love is not two people clinging to each other; it can only be fostered between two strong people secure in their individuality. ^[13] Real love is not synonymous with losing control or going crazy. It's not an obsessive state in which another's spirit takes possession over you.^[14] Real love is not about drug hugs and back rub chains. Though real love can manifest as the most intensely passionate and beautiful physical experience in life, that path is for one soul to one soul only… and only when spiritually true.^[15]

Real love is rare. When you finally find something that seems like true love, you grab it with both hands.^[16] Real love is action. It is putting my feelings of love into action for the other person.^[17] Real Love is willing to love regardless of pain or suffering that has been done. I said this to Justin, and now I share this with you what real love truly is.(Please note this is only one part of the conversation we were having) " I will forgive you of every pain you have and ever will cause me, and be by your side untill the day you die.^[18]

Real love is sacrifice - it is work. That is why we preach a theology of faith *and* works - words without action are useless.^[19] Real love is based upon action, not merely emotion. The feelings associated with love are fantastic, but love does its best work as a verb, where each partner constantly works in the best interest of the other.^[20] Real love is trustworthy and reliable. Because the truth is: real love is found in the person of Christ.^[21]

Real love is primarily interested in the other person. It seeks to give instead of get.^[22]

John 3:16 says that God loved the world so much THAT… ‘That’ to me alludes to love’s proving itself by an action. Our (me especially) love is so conditional.^[23] John had used both tracks of the cassette for voice, piano and guitar overdubs with a metronome providing rythem. All the other 3 had to do was backing vocals and additional instuments.^[24] John writes in 1 John 4:8 that God is love. None of us would love - or could love - if we weren’t in some way in contact with God who is love.^[25]

Note carefully the remainder of Apostle Paul's statement (Romans 12:9 b) , "Abhor (i.e., intensely hate in the original Greek text) that which is evil; cling to that which is good.".So, genuine love, God's love, exists within a framework of moral good and evil.^[27] God wants to co-create a life of joy, wellness and prosperity with you. He cannot do it for you, only with you.^[28]

God also invites us to partnership: to learn to love the world, to learn Jesus?ifestyle of love. ^[29]

Agape love is not just a wonderful feeling; it is the definite choice of the will. One of the amazing things about agape love is this: when you choose to love a person unselfishly and act lovingly toward them, in time you will have the feeling of love toward them.^[41] Agape features strongly in the Bible, where it is used to describe the love God shows. The Bible also provides a helpful guide to identifying this kind of love.^[42]

True love isn?t conditional ? ^[48] True, everyone has their own definition for love but whatever that is it will make you vulnerable. What I mean by this is that, once you love someone and trust them and do all the BS they claim that comes with it, at any point you can be put to an end.^[49]

Everything is, everything exists, only because I love. Everything is united by it alone.^[50] Everything is good, exept sex. It is the type that is a real friendship and cooperation at all the levels.^[51]

Yet even those programs are closer to humans on an autonomy scale than, say, a hammer. A hammer is a completely inanimate object.^[55] Yet we are not quite there yet. We still have the remnants of what our caregivers, culture and society spoon fed us with, as being what God is.^[56]

Nothing turns people off more than a blaming attitude about the past. But you can take a page out of Bevin’s book and realize that love is about care for another person.^[62] Nothing all that special about sharing a glass of water. Except that it was a simple act of real love-a glass of water transformed by two people reaching out across language, borders, and cultures.^[63]
